Katie started on the client side of our radar. We were fortunate enough to be the planners on her wedding last fall. When she decided to take the leap and open her own photography business we knew she would be the perfect fit for Union27.
I've been a photographer since I owned my first Nikon point and shoot camera in 2011, and since I asked my mom how I could work for National Geographic. Needless to say, I'm not there yet, but I am living my dreams as a full time photographer.
I'm super outdoorsy and adventurous! Anytime I'm not taking photos, you can find me hiking and scrambling my way around the foothills, or cruising down mountains on my snowboard. I love working with people with the same sense of adventure, who want to hike up to the top of that rock to check out the view!
Photo shoots with me are fun, creative, and usually involve either you, me, or both of us lying on the ground to make an epic photo. I love collaborating with you to create a piece of art that you will want to hang on the wall because it represents who you are, not just what a photographer told you to be. I live for the candid moments in between poses where your personality shines through.
On a wedding day, I like to stay fairly inconspicuous most of the day. My experience shooting over 150 weddings means that I know where to be to get the shot that counts when it happens out of the blue. However, that doesn't mean I can't take charge when your family members need to get together for family photos, or make sure that you both don't feel awkward in front of the camera during formal poses. We'll spend a lot of time running, spinning, or laughing to make fun, romantic, whimsical, or epic photos. Whatever your heart desires!
My wedding packages start at $2000 with one photographer, and $2,500 with two photographers. I offer elopement options as well, so if you need less than 5 hours let me know! I always give all of my digitals with any of my sessions and weddings, and you have printing rights for all your images.
